Come out and celebrate Independence Day on Tuesday, July 4. Starting at 6 p.m., enjoy games, bounce houses, food and entertainment. The fireworks display will begin promptly at 9 p.m. The event is free, but there will be fees for food, bounce houses and games. Parking will be available for $3 and fills up fast, so make sure to arrive early to enjoy all the activities planned.
2017 Independence Day Celebration ~ “The Music of America”
Independence Day Parade-
The parade begins at 9:00 am at the intersection of Broward Boulevard and NW 69th Avenue continuing onto NW 4th street, ending at City Hall.
Free Concert and Fireworks-
Big City Dogs, a Florida-based classic rock and blues band will be playing music from the 1960’s through 2000’s. The concert begins at 7:00 pm at the Central Park ballfields.
Refreshments will be available for purchase, or bring a picnic dinner and lawn chairs or blankets.
At 9:00 pm, Zambelli Fireworks presents one of the best displays in Broward.
Personal fireworks, sparklers, drones and alcoholic beverages are not permitted in the park.
Celebrate 4th of July on Hollywood Beach

All are welcome to celebrate our nation’s 241st birthday on Hollywood Beach on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at the annual Star-Spangled Spectacular 4th of July Celebration. Sponsored by the City of Hollywood Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts and the Hollywood Community Redevelopment Agency-Beach District, this annual event features entertainment beginning at 2:00 p.m., highlighted by a dazzling offshore fireworks display at 9:00 p.m.

- Charnow Park Beachside Stage: 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. music and games with DJ Gamesmaster Tony Mixx
- Beachside Stage at Charnow Park: 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Concert featuring 13th Army Band of the Florida National Guard
- 7:00 p.m. Official Welcome at the Beachside Stage
- 9:00 p.m. dazzling offshore fireworks display
Celebrate America’s Independence Day at the City of Fort Lauderdale’s free 4th of July Spectacular! The Independence Day Celebration will feature a patriotic extravaganza featuring live bands, a kids zone, beach games, contests, family activities and a dazzling fireworks display. The 4th of July Spectacular takes place on July 4 from 12:00 to 9:30 p.m. on Fort Lauderdale Beach at A1A and Las Olas Boulevard.
The Kids Zone will provide non-stop energy and excitement along with plenty of music and comic relief from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. Highlights will include DJ, music, bounce houses, water slides, face painting, human foosball, beach games and contests. Make sure to bring your appetite so you can compete in an old-fashioned hot dog eating contest. And if that doesn’t fill you up, top it off by participating in a July 4th watermelon eating contest!
As the sun goes down, the celebration heats up with live music and entertainment. Finally, as the sun goes down watch the sky light up with the City’s fireworks show at 9 p.m. This dazzling pyrotechnic display is simulcast with music on 101.5 LITE FM and is an annual favorite for all!

Sports-themed floats will wind their way west along Sunset Strip from NW 12th Street to City Park, where the celebration continues with free refreshments and a children’s fun zone.

There’s something for everyone at our nighttime celebration, including children’s rides and inflatables, and an assortment of food and beverage vendors.
The music begins at 6:00 p.m. with Caribbean rhythms from the Baha Men, best known for the worldwide hit, Who Let the Dogs Out. At 7:30 p.m., it’s time for headliners The Romantics, whose ‘80s chart toppers included Talking in Your Sleepand What I Like About You. At 9:00 p.m., enjoy a spectacular fireworks display.
In honor of Independence Day, the City of Margate and the Margate Community Redevelopment Agency are hosting the annual Fourth of July Parade and Fireworks Celebration on Tuesday, July 4th. The celebration will begin at 9 a.m. with the City’s popular parade followed by a post-parade picnic and an evening concert. Join us in the evening for a spectacular fireworks show that will begin at 9 p.m. at Margate Boulevard and 441.

We invite you and your friends and family for a free outdoor concert with “HEATWAVE”. South Florida’s dynamic group that performs an energetic array of musical medleys.
There will also be an entertainment area with fun rides, arts & crafts, games to keep the children busy, and food trucks. The night’s not over until after the impressive and choreographed pyrotechnical firework display which kicks off promptly at 9pm.
The City of Weston’s 2017 4th of July Hometown Parade! Participants including elected leaders, local businesses, civic groups, schools, bands, organizations and residents gather to march in Weston’s biggest and most exciting event.
