Join the City’s annual Fourth of July celebration at 6 p.m. on Monday, July 4 at Mullins Park. Families are encouraged to celebrate the holiday safely by enjoying a grand fireworks display set to begin promptly at 9 p.m. Free admission, bounce houses and music. Nominal fees for kid’s craft activities, food and refreshments. There is a $3 parking fee at the Coral Springs Gymnasium, Mullins Park and the Center for the Arts.
PLEASE NOTE: As an added safety measure, coolers, backpacks and lawn chairs carried in a bag are prohibited. Personal fireworks, sparklers, alcoholic beverages and pets are also not allowed in the park.

Independence Day Parade

The parade begins at the intersection of Broward Boulevard and N.W. 46th Avenue, heads west to N.W. 69th Avenue con nuing onto N.W. 4th Street, ending at City Hall.

Free Concert & Fireworks

The concert, featuring Mr. Nice Guy, begins at 7:00 p.m. at the Central Park ball fields. Refreshments will be available for purchase or bring a picnic dinner and lawn chairs or blankets. At 9:00 p.m. Zambelli Fireworks presents one of the best displays in Broward. Fireworks, sparklers and alcoholic beverages are not permitted within the park.


Fourth of July Events

The much anticipated summertime treat of spending the day on the

beach with a gathering of family and friends is on its way.  Preparations are underway for a fun and music filled day on Monday, July 4th from 2 – 10p.m.  The award-winning Blue Wave beach is ready to welcome you. Pick your fun along the beach at Charnow Park’s splash pad, beach games, relaxing under umbrella or grab your favorite percussion instrument to play along with beachside entertainers.  The celebration concludes with a star spangled offshore fireworks display at 9p.m.

Weston’s Annual July 4th Hometown Celebration

7:00AM – 5K RUN/Walk: The morning festivities kick off with a 5K Run/Walk, sponsored by Broward Health Weston and the City of Weston, beginning at 7 a.m. at Weston Town Center. Registration in advance is $16; race day registration is $20 available 5:30 a.m. – 6:45 a.m.

The race will begin at Town Center and go east on Three Village Road to Indian Trace. The route then heads west on Indian Trace to Town Center Blvd. then south, returning to Three Village Road and ending back at the Town Center. Detailed information, downloadable application and a route map are available on-line at www.splitsecondtiming.com.
10:30AM – PARADE: Join us later that morning for the City of Weston 4th of     July Hometown Parade! Participants including local businesses, civic groups, schools, organizations, and residents gather to march in Weston’s biggest and    most exciting event.

Participants line up at 9:30 am and the Parade begins promptly at 10:30 am at the corner of Town Center Blvd. and Three Village Road, continuing east on     Three Village Road to Bonaventure Blvd. heading south briefly to Bell Tower     Lane, and winding through Town Center to the heart of Main Street. The theme of this year’s parade is: “WESTON – SHARING & CARING.”

**There will be NO fireworks display put on by the City of Weston.

On Sunday, July 4th, all City parks will remain open until 6 p.m. **

“Hooray for Hollywood” Parade
& Family Fun Day

9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
City Park, 6700 Sunset Strip
Movie-themed floats will wind their way west along Sunset Strip from NW 12th Street to City Park, where the celebration continues with free refreshments and a children’s fun zone.

Concert and Fireworks

5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Outdoors at the BB&T Center, One Panther Parkway

This crowd-pleasing, free outdoor event is presented in partnership with Wheelabrator Technologies. Additional sponsors include BB&T Center, Memorial Health Systems, Ed Morse Sawgrass Automall, Chester’s Harley Davidson Ft. Lauderdale, Florida Panthers, Sun-Sentinel, Metropica, Bahama Breeze, and The Beach 102.7 FM. There’s something for everyone, including live music, fireworks, food and beverage vendors, and children’s rides and inflatables.
